100% agree - This is actually a feature request that I have requested as well. And - it’s for the exact reasons you have spelled out here. I’m actually a gamer also and my background for communities has been from running a 18 year old (my gosh, it can vote now!) gaming community. I’m not doing that anymore - I now do it for Wix. 
I also wonder with a little coding if you could possibly write a Discord Bot that could integrate with a Wix DB that might could sync profiles/badges. How legit would that be?
Also: I do know that they are working on something that will make you very happy - custom profile fields. It’s in the pipeline. A great use-case for you would be adding Xbox/Ps4/Battlenet tags in profiles so members can find each other on gaming networks.
