While we are waiting for Wix’s updates and new releases, you can try the following after enabled Dev mode (no code needed):
Add a dataset to page and connect it to repeater/gallery. You can apply filter on the dataset. This allows you to do custom layouts with your own elements / pro gallery’s layout.
