Add option to change drop down item background

Currently it isn’t possible to set the background color of drop down items. This means the list of items is always white when you click on a drop down field. This doesn’t always fit in with the design of the web page/application.

Please add an option to change the list formatting.

it is not even white. it is transparent. making page design very restrictive. how do you make it solid white?
