i would like to use an external api to add new products to the wix webshop. The api will provide the product name, price and stock amount. The images etc. will be added separately. What is my best path forwards?

Just to clarify: with wix webshop i mean the wix online store.
My client is using an omnichannel retail platform for their POS solutions. It provides an online database with all the products, prices and stock information and an API to access the data. They are also using a wix website and want the products from the retail platform in the wix online store.
Thing like the product name, product description, ‘in-stock’ amount and price would come from the retail platform. Additional info like images would be entered manually in wix per product. Payment processing would be done via the wix backend options.
I’m getting familiar with wix. I can see that velo somehow could provide some solution.
