Is there a way to add 50 (or more) pricing plan options?
We offer monthly licensing plans on a state-by-state basis. Each state’s plan’s pricing is based on a formula that uses a state’s population to arrive at a monthly fee.
The closest option I’ve come up with is using a store with a limit of one product for each state. But, then, we lose out on setting up pricing plans, which defeats the whole purpose.
Another option is to have three plans, each approximating small, medium, and large states. But, this creates an unfair situation for the smallest states in each category.
Perhaps there’s a way to add more than 3 pricing plans, but I have not found one.
Adding to this issue is that we plan to make licensees into members, so they can add content to their public page, if they want one, on this website and also connecting to other websites. Setting up the dynamic pages is not too hard.
But we can’t figure out how to add a rating and recommendation tool for website visitors to use on each licensee’s page.
Also, along the same lines, we want to have a map of the United States with each state (or portion of a state) connecting to a lightbox
The lightbox will have a smaller map of the state, pricing, general information related to that state’s license fee, and a link or form to reserve the state by leaving a deposit.
We also want the state, or portion of a state, to indicate by its color whether it’s available, already licensed, or in negotiation.
On the backend, we’ll use the same database for tracking details about each state’s licensee, their monthly fee, and monitoring payments and other products or services the licensee is using.
Setting up the dynamic pages and required CMS is easy (even for a novice like me). But can any of you recommend a suitable US map that you’ve used to make a similar page?
