Allow users to upload documents, access them in the future and have it added to a database collection for management.

I am working on a website for a client and need some help. Their clients will register to the site and depending on what type of client they are, they get assigned to a user type, managed through badges. Once they log into the site, they are given a set of tasks that they are required to complete. Which is mainly a list of downloadable PDF’s. Those PDF’s have to be filled out by certain people in their life, such as a physician. Once the form is completed, they need to be able to upload the form to their profile and some specific things need to happen. First, the completed form they uploaded needs to be attached to their profile within the database I built to manage this. Ideally, this transaction would notify a manager that it has been submitted via an email, with an attachment of the document and the email would have an “approve” button, so once the manager reviews the document, they can simply click approve… notifying the individual that submitted the document that it was approved and from that point, they can access the file any time they log into their account.

I am fairly new to Velo with WIX and believe that I am missing how this can be seamlessly achieved. I would appreciate some direction. Thanks.

Hello. I am having a little trouble figuring out exactly where you are stuck. It sounds like the first step is to create your members area/badging/downloadable pdf’s. Is that part set up?
