She only plans and does the event production. Other vendors provide the design, flowers, etc. She will be using photos of the events on the site. Since she “produced” the event and they are photos she took herself, is it OK to post them since she was the one managing the event? Or does she need to get permission to use the photos? Is there a blanket disclaimer of sorts she could add? This is a first, since the work she does can not really be photographed. Thanks guys!
Unless it’s a corporate or trademarked event you should be okay to use those photos. Make sure she isn’t taking credit for Flowers, designs, etc - that she’s promoting herself as an event planner. “Making it all come together” or something haha. Hope that helps!
To add to what Brett said, I think it would be great if she’d ask the Client’s Permission and also get a Testimonial from them that you can feature on the website along with the event photos. This builds trust when someone visits the site, and once the photos are live, you can also share the link with the client and ask them to share it on Social Media platforms, Messaging platforms, etc. if they like it.
