Anyone else experiencing this issue with Facebook Ads?

So I ran an ad campaign last month which ran perfectly. I restarted the campaign for a second month (September), and all of a sudden I get an email from Wix saying my campaign has been ‘paused’ due to a technical issue:

I’m directed to the dashboard to fix the issue, but there is no information given! I’m stuck in limbo, and my client has already paid for a month’s advertising upfront.

As far as I’m concerned this is a Wix issue… ? I’ve tried to edit the campaign and restart it, it goes into review and then 5 minutes later it’s ‘paused’ and Wix notifies me.

I’ve raised this already with Wix Support but I haven’t had a resolution.

My client really should have the right to a refund if this is indeed Wix’s problem…

Hey @brett , thanks for your reply! My initial support request was replied to, but I don’t think Support quite understand what I’m trying to explain.

They think it’s to do with a product in my store (a face-covering), which breaches Facebook’s advertising policy. Now I know this already, which is why I excluded this item from the advertising campaign before, when I first successfully ran the campaign in August.

Here is a video demonstrating the issue. After the campaign goes into review, it gets ‘paused’ within a few seconds and there’s no reason given as to why.

All I can do is ‘edit’ the campaign and try again – but this keeps on happening.

As I say, as far as my client is concerned, they’re not receiving the product / service they’ve paid upfront for :frowning:

Well, my client is about to jump ship.

I don’t understand what’s going on here. My client has paid for this service and Wix is simply not providing it.

No one seems to acknowledge this and I have no idea how I’m going to go about getting a refund on the ad campaign my client’s paid upfront for.

I hate to say it, but with a number of potential e-commerce clients I’m about to sign up, I can’t confidently recommend Wix at this time.

Ive got the same problkem accept every time i want to edit to see if I fixed thge problem it wants to charge me again.

Not happy, ive now paid twice. I want a refund and the error fixed.
