Artcartlabel not a function

Question:
I am following this tutorial Tutorial: Request a Quote - however I’m getting an error code saying addcartlabel is not a function …….why?

What are you trying to achieve:
My friend sells art both original pieces and prints. The original pieces have too many variables to set postage for (it would need to be on a case by case basis), so a customer would need to enquire for a postage quote before purchasing. This tutorial seemed the best option. Any other ideas?

I presume the above tutorial isn’t working because I’m not using studio ??

Yes, that is likely your issue. As noted at the top of the tutorial you linked, this feature is only available on Wix Studio

Thanks…. Is there another work around to change the add to cart label? - or since my friend pays for a premium account can she get studio? This is such a key feature for her work in wix store (and I would think of many artists).

Wix Studio is not only for premium users, anyone can use it! It’s a different platform though so to use this you would have to re-build the site in Wix Studio. I’m not aware of a workaround for this in the classic editor but perhaps someone else in the community will weigh in
