I recently learned that you could not use wix forms if you want to be able to adjust who can view the form, in this case site members.

I have solved this by making a custom form with “input boxes” including a box for uploading images. everything set up to a cms data sheet.

But my problem now is when my site visitors press the submit button they wont recieve a thank you mail for submitting the form. The Automasation doesnt work.
I also automatically update a Google sheet and that works ok when setting up the auto to “cms” instead of “wix form” but It wont work with the mail. if I set it up as cms for the email I have to pick a group who shall recieve the email instead of a automatic reply.

sidequest:
(cant get the upload button to link to google sheets, worked with wix forms before)

I don’t know if this is possible with Wix Automations

It could be achieved with code though, using data hooks and triggered emails
