Why isn’t this a common solution?
I can:
a) embed a css/html dropdown menu in an iframe.
b) post a message to the iframe to show/hide line items.
https://support.wix.com/en/article/corvid-working-with-the-html-element
c) post a message back to the site to trigger an tolocation(page).
d) make the iframe transparent so that it is not “visually” obscuring the page.
It appears that the Iframe will obscure in the rectangle that the dropdown lists reach down to in terms of mouse interatction - is this true or is there a way of making the transparent part of the frame effectively transparent to mouse interactions? ( I suspect I can work around this if so, have to avoid long lists and navigation elements in that space )
What am I missing?
b) sample dropdown menu
