@let-s-start-design - Yes, updates within a Database collection are being auto saved and will auto appear on your site once changed.
This is actually not an AutoSave feature, and it always worked this way.
Please note that your database has 2 version -

Sandbox - for development.

Live - data that actually appears on your site.
