BETA UNLOCKED: New EDITOR BUTTONS!

@arnonk Hello, my English write is very bad and I am using google translator to write this message.

Testing the function of changing the color of the icon on the button, I see that it is not possible to change the color of the user’s SVG icons as you reported in response on 9/11/2019 to D Koder Marketing.

However, I uploaded an SVG icon with the colors in R: 0 G: 0 B: 100 and managed to change its colors later, as if it were an icon from the WIX “basic shapes” selection. I was also able to give him transparency without problems.

Sorry if this has already been corrected by you or if it is new, but before I tried with my SVG icons with the color 100% white in RGB and it was really impossible to change the color.

Doubts, I am available.

@wnieckel thanks for your response. We are limited in the way we handle this SVG icon (as we are with other elements) as the panel only edits/changes the CSS. We add a CSS fill property to the icon, and it paints the icon that color. Icons that do not support this (like ones with more than a single element with fill or ones that have a `fill=rgba(…)" attribute in the code we cannot change. We have no plans to overcome this limitation.

If you feel comfortable changing the code of the SVG file - you can remove the “fill=…” attribute from it, and upload it again. This fixes the situation in many cases.

@arnonk Thanks for the answer. I’m uploading all my icons in 100% black to be able to change their color on the buttons as I showed in the video. It’s working fine.

Exporting from CorelDraw I had no problems and did not need to modify the fill attribute.

thx for supporting!

Hi,
I use the new buttons with text only,
buttons have only one number as text and 0 padding on all stages.
Everything looks just fine until I add a link to the button.
The number then jumps to one side.
Is it a bug? A known issue? What could be the problem?

“4” is a button with no link,

Hello! I know this is out of Beta but I have found a glitch with the new “Text + Icon” buttons. Basically, the “disabled” design elements are not working. I have the disabled background, text & icon design all set to white. The idea being when they are “disabled” they will blend into my site page’s white background.

Button background is set to all white:

Text is set to all white:

Icon is set to all white:

I discovered this glitch specifically on a dynamic page. The button is connected to data and set to go to the “next dynamic page”:

So, when you arrive at the last dynamic page available in this dataset, the button becomes “disabled”. However, instead of turning all white as I set it in the design settings, it creates this weird grey shadow.

So you’ll see the button on the left set to “Previous dynamic page” is still in regular mode, but the two buttons on the right which are set to “Next dynamic page” instead of turning all white go grey. It looks highly unprofessional to me.

It seems to me like the Corvid coding is overriding the regular Wix Editor Design formatting that I manually set?

Would love to some feedback from Wix support! I will also try posting in the Wix Corvid Forum… if any other partners have noticed this glitch and/or found a solution please let me know!

I will ask someone to look into this. Definitely not the expected behavior.

Thanks for the report.

Thank you! :pray:t2:
