I tested the background video on mobile with my iPhone on battery saver mode and it doesn’t play. When on regular mode it does play. On battery saver mode it does reduce background activity like downloads, but is there a way for Wix to fix this? A lot of iPhone users use battery saver mode, so it would be nice if they can still see the video playing in the background, without having to turn off battery saver mode. If there isn’t a way to fix this, I suggest everyone using this feature to make sure that their first frame looks nice.

@info52 you selected the strip but clicked on the background icon of the page. To enable the video background for the strip you need to click on the background icon of the strip

You can now. You need to manage the settings of the background in the mobile editor.
Okay… Could you help me a little then please? When I go to the mobile editor to try to set the ‘page’ background as video - it is greyed out
Click on the background itself and select the square icon. You’ll see the switch button that enables video play on mobile.
Thanks! I know where the issue lies now then - I’m building a new site on a non-premium account so it’s not giving me the option. I’m thinking this is why I cannot find it. Thank you!!
