Today I tested my website’s member area with some friends, and a number of them reported having problems with signing up. I am using the default member area, with the option to sign up using email. I did not set up anything relating to confirmation emails or stuff like that, which makes this bug really puzzling.
Namely, when some users were signing up with email, they were getting confirmation email prompts. Furthermore, some of them were not getting the confirmation email in the first place, making them unable to sign up at all. Note that this only happened to some users; others were able to sign up without getting any prompts.
