Can a Blog be a "resource" of other articles?"

I have a client for whom I developing a website that will serve as a resource of information on their specialty (natural fertility methods). They want to include a 'blog" - but it’s really NOT a blog in the true sense of the word because it’s not their original content. They want to use it to store relevant articles from around the internet. My questions: If we call it a “Resource Center” instead of a “blog” (but still use the blog platform for categories, indexing etc.) CAN WE COPY and PASTE articles into the blog platform as long as we provide the author’s name, date, source and link to the actual article? Or is there another way to handle this?

Hi Sue, instead of a blog, have you thought of creating a forum? I think it’d be more effecting than a blog.

The beauty of a forum is you can have private categories, public categories, sub-categories, etc.

You can find out more here .

Hi Sue,
Perhaps you could create a page on the site, title it Resources, and then add from the “Lists & Grids” option inside the “+” icon on the left panel. Choose Repeaters and then you can have items listed. I created this for this site:

https://www.projectflyway.com/game-chainger

See the 12 resources listed each with links in the middle of the page at the link above. You can have different formats with images we opted not having images.
Hope that helps,
Jim

Thanks Jim!
