Cannot type 0.001 in weight text field of the product

I think something is wrong with the weight text field of the product, I tried to enter 0.001 (kg) and the textbox deleting the text itself.

step to reproduce
If I want to type 0.00345,
I have to type 345 first, then have to put 0.00 zero dot zero zero in front to make it work. That’s the only workaround or otherwise the textbox is preventing me from entering prefix 0.0.

You are completely correct, if you want to work in that low weight your still forced to use KG but unable to type 0.0xxx but have to do it in the method you are mentioning. I will try and get one of the developers to take a look at this post and the issue.
