# can't index the website with google

Hello, I have the following problem. I transferred my domain and my website is live. but now the page cannot be indexed on Google. it is excluded by “noindex”. But neither on the main pages nor anywhere else is “noindex” clicked. Can someone help me. I am an absolute beginner.

When a website isn’t being indexed by Google, it’s usually due to a combination of **indexing eligibility, discovery, and validation signals**. Below is a structured checklist that covers all common causes and how to resolve them:

**1. Confirm the site is indexable**

- Ensure the site is **published** and not set to private or password-protected

- In **SEO Settings** , verify that the site and relevant pages are set to **Allow indexing**

- Confirm that no **no index** meta tag or robots directive is applied

**2. Request re-indexing**

Once the above settings are verified:

- Use **URL Inspection** in Google Search Console

- Click **Request indexing** to prompt Google to re-crawl the page
