Change password issue

Hello. Has anyone checked their members page for change password? For me when a customer goes to login, change password

  1. They get an email from wix and not the site name
  2. Once they change password, its on a wix
  3. One they click login after they change they are taken to the main wix login page!

Is anyone seeing this??

Hey @maaubry - Let me see if I have enough experience to help you with this.

There are multiple ways site members can “sign up” and authenticate. They can log in with Facebook, Google, and Wix. Alternatively, you could create a custom sign-up form (like we do here on this partner community site) and that actually creates the username/password and it exists within Wix.

Now - Resetting the password. If they use one of the ways to authenticate (FB, Google, Wix) they will be redirected to that site to log in first before being authenticated by the Wix site. If your members are using Wix this could cause them to be redirected to the wix site upon password request.

If you use a custom form it will also redirect to Wix.
