Not a fan with the current situation of Wix “Partners” since it is not a partnership in any way, shape or form. In fact, the agreement literally states, we are not “partners” moving forward 
.
With that said, I adore Wix, this platform, the community within, etc but why would I pay to allow Wix to advertise to the clientele I’ve built over the years (not from the Arena) and many whom I’ve convinced to leave other platforms when Wix will not back me with client related problems such as non-payment, the bane of many independent contractors?
So slap your name next to mine on a co-branded site, pay $200 for name recognition and we will pretend you don’t exist when things get tough because we aren’t REALLY partners, we just want to be branded on your websites on your dime…beyond what we already charge you for premium plans? So make that how much a year? 
I laughed so hard at the audacity of the suggestion. There is NO upside for the Partner. You get to say you “partner” with Wix now any way you want on your site.
Maybe if there was some kind of genuine tradeoff, I’d consider it but I think since I bring in new business, keep my clients continuously enrolled in web-hosting plans, I think Wix is pretty lucky I keep their hyperlink on my sites. That is the most even exchange my business-mind can fathom.
…pay them to advertise on my sites…that’s a good one.
