I added an admin user to my Editor-X account today. He got the invitation, went to the link, set up his username and password, and can get in fine. When I try and log in with his credentials from my location to help set up his roles, after logging out of my own account, his credentials won’t work …

this sounds like login issues, Wix got dedicated team to assist with such type of queries, so I would like to suggest you contact Customer Care from the relevant account
