In general you can’t just take javscript from some tutorial or somewhere and insert it on site (not only wix, on any site)
What this code should do? What are you trying to achieve?
Danialla, Wix does not, by design, offer you access to HTML. There is a component called ‘html-component’ which allows you to do so. Look here: Velo: Working with the HTML iframe Element | Help Center | Wix.com
But Mikhail is right in stating that there are more ways than one to the same solution. What do you want to do?

can you still provide more details? what code are you trying to use? can you share the url of the site you are trying to build?
the code you have found probably has assumptions over the html page structure or script it needs
