# Contact Form Email Shows Submission Variables — How to Remove?

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with the email that gets triggered after someone submits our **Contact Us form**.

In the email, there’s a locked section that looks like this:

```javascript
${submissions>label}: ${submissions>value}

```

I tested it and confirmed that **these fields are visible to the person receiving the email** — which I don’t want. I’d prefer not to show raw form submission data like this to users.

My questions are:

1. Is this section meant to be part of the default form submission email?
2. Is there any way to remove or hide it from the email that the user receives?

Check your Automations, I think you can edit the templates there.
