We’re experiencing severe member issues. Where members on the website are required to answer qualifying questions, on the Spaces app, they can use other login methods and can bypass the qualifying questions.
This is making a mess of our back-end. We have members who joined the website using their email, then they join Spaces by using a “hidden” Apple ID email. When they click “Join Request” it creates another pending Member record. Even if I merge them the customer cannot use their Apple ID to log into the Spaces App.
I understand offering alternatives to signing up, but Wix needs to allow us to:
- provide qualifying questions before someone can randomly join our app site, and
- allow us to merge accounts on the backend such that a member can log in using either method they chose between the website and the app.
