copy dynamic pages and links

I have an events site and have a dynamic page that shows upcoming events
I want to create a past events page. This is fine I copied the dynamic events (all) page and changed the settings to show old events. However I want to change the title page that the user sees when they click through as I need to alter it a little.
I did copy the events (title) page but cant see an option to connect the repeater to this new page. Is there away to do this in settings or with code

I don’t know if this info will help you, but to copy a dynamic page as i know, you first have to convert back your current dynamic page to normal page, then do the COPY, and then convert both back to → DYNAMIC ones.

But maybe i am wrong.
