Maybe wix hasn’t implemented this because it doesn’t benefit the general community of bloggers out there, but they’re forgetting about one major spectrum that crucially needs this feature: Writers and translators.
Many of us work on a few projects at a time and often label them to be characterised under a ‘project’ or ‘story’ kind of category/main page but here comes the problem: Once we add the project name/or table of contents (subpage) into the main page, where would the chapters of these projects go? The alternative offered doesn’t work as the chapters would be intruding on the project’s subpages themselves.
Another alternative includes implementing the projects name to be a main title (and add the chapters as a sub page), but that won’t work. That’s because we wouldn’t be able to add the summary page where all our projects get their say which is a NECESSARY feature inside a writer/and translator’s blog. On top of that, linking a button on a sub page (the button) to a main page (the story) will only reduce the overall quality of the blog and confuse many visitors on where to go. Which would put wix writers at a huge disadvantage.
Please just solve this bind with a sub-sub page.
