Create an Invoice to be triggered to the customer

I have a form that the admin will be updating information which I would like to be then translated into an invoice and sent to the selected site-member. I am not sure how to get the createInvoice & sendInvoice api to work for this purpose.

I know how to send messages to selected site members! Here is a tutorial on how to create this function(it is another forum post):
