I am looking at solutions to create a marketplace website where merchants can sign-on and sell their inventory, and I would really appreciate some advice from experienced Corvid developers about whether this wold be a good fit for Wix and Corvid or not.
The core concept is like Amazon, the difference is, that the first thing the user does when he visits the website is choose a merchant and then proceeds to shop their inventory. Each merchant should basically have their own Wix store.
I was wondering if there is a way to create stores (or store pages) on the fly in Corvid. Another approach would be to have one big inventory with all the stores’ products and filter products based on the url automatically. Other features I require is 1. searches limited to a merchant’s inventory 2. separate shopping carts for different merchants. 3. (from the merchant’s side) a merchant should be able to add their inventory.
I guess the question boils down to, how much flexibility do you get in Corvid when you are working with components from Wix stores, e.g. stores, carts, product input, etc? Is it better than starting from scratch?
