Every time I change the image either by database or by .src = “…” it loses the shape crop. But if I do not connect an image or change the crop remains. How do I resolve this? I want to change the connecting image in the database but that was to remain with the crop. Help me please!

You won’t like this answer, but the best solution as of now is just to edit the photo either in photoshop or using the media manager.
