I wrote some custom code for a mega menu drop down and when I bring up the lightbox/subscribe pop-up in the editor the menu immediately shifts out of place and I can’t return it to it’s original position. I have to restore the site from a previous time which undoes all of the changes I am trying to make to the lightbox pop-up. I think something is clashing between my code and the editor itself but I’m not sure where to begin or where/how to look because I am not getting and errors in the code itself. Has anyone else had this issue? I can supply screenshots as needed. Thank you!
Both Wix-Editors (Normal / Editor-X) have the same PROBLEM and this is not a new PROBLEM!
I call it DANCING-ELEMENTS on my SCREEN.
What does it mean?
From time to time (like you already know, right now), you will face usecases where your elements starts to move (for example everytime when you click onto the PUBLISH-BUTTON), or when you try to do other changes on your site, surprisingly some of your elements alives and start to do their own thing (moving chaoticaly all over the editor).
I have had this case just few days ago AGAIN!
Mostly this effect comes when…
- …when you change the ZOOM of your Browser (Wix-Editor)
When you have set it to 100% → in most cases, everything works fine.
When you start to zoom in or out to 120%/120% or to 90%/80%
The problems starts!
- When you copy and paste elements from another project.
Such elements also will often go crazy on your screen.
SOMETIMES IT’S A REAL MESS TO HOLD ALL THE ELEMENTS IN PLACE!
