currently the unchangeable WiX 404 page is this

and the problem is that this may not fit with your website’s theme, I would like to have the ability to customize it to fit my theme, there are many ways they could do this,

  1. have a permanent 404 page in the page editor
  2. be able to upload an html and css file
    I personally would like both to be implemented

lol u wish! Wix makes tons of money out of it, It used to be different but they thought it was a great idea to promote their services this way

They could at least pop in your header and footer, so it looks like your site.

I don’t understand how such an excellent websites buildr as Wix is missing the capability to customize your 404 page. Wix … come on. Why is this simple but important feature missing?

That’s the way of telling your users the site is built by Wix, basically ads. It used to be customizable but they changed it, so it is not a technology issue, it’s the fact that they don’t wanna do it.
