Customized Sign Up form for customers creates a new member not linked to the customer

Dear Wix community,

I’ve used the following tutorial ( https://support.wix.com/en/article/how-to-create-a-custom-registration-form ) to create a customized Sign Up form for my customers after cart checkout. The issue is that this Sign Up creates a member that is not connected with the customer contact. And the customer can’t see his orders nor his personal information after login.
