Database-fed table row not auto-sizing

Anybody else have this problem? I created a table, linked to a dataset, then when I preview one of the rows is cut off without displaying all the information. That particular row is significantly taller than the other rows but I figure it should still display OK, right?

Also, is there a way to order the table rows?

Hi,

First you can always set a Filter os Sort on your dataset and its automatically will order your row tables.

Here you can read how to accomplish that:

Second, reference to the row, try to enlarge your table and if there is still a problem send us a URL to your site and specify the name of the page so we can inspect.

Thanks! Forgot about sorting the dataset.

re the table, see https://gym542.wixsite.com/heroncreek/membershipoptions

The Classes and Workshop Discounts text is longer than what is being displayed - the rows have been truncated.

Hi.
Set to the table’s layouts to be manually and enlarge your table.

Moreover, you can also set the columns width.

Thanks - it’s sort of OK but not robust… Sure I can tweak it for the current data and do my best to make it not horrible on a cell phone (scroll bars? seriously?) but next person to modify the data collection could throw the presentation off completely. It’s a great idea to separate content and presentation but the presentation layer needs to be solid.

As is, the manually-configured row height is the same regardless of the content in that row. You could have one word per cell or a paragraph and it’s the same row height.

I am playing with the same problem, and my URL link cuts off no matter what (and the rest of the text seems to wrap itself without a problem)

How do I fix this?
