I have a client collecting watch information for years, and I am eager to create a website based on this database. The idea is to highlight specific data points, such as who wore Rolex XYZ: Actor 1, Actor 2, Formula 1 driver, or even the President of the USA. Additionally, when relevant, I’d like to connect this data to references like Actor 1 in Interstellar, Actor 2 in The Mask, and more.
Before answering my client if I’m able to create his website, I have attempted to build it using Wix’s CMS on Wix Editor and Wix Studio, but I’m relatively new to it and facing some challenges. I started by using a repeater since some watches have multiple wearers, but I’m encountering issues with input fields. Moreover, all the data appears at once, and there isn’t an effective way to select one or more responses based on the watch. Additionally, I would like to ensure that users can search in various directions, such as searching by actor and finding the associated watches.
Is it possible to achieve this level of complexity on Wix, and if so, how should I proceed? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or tips on how to structure and manage this database-driven website effectively.
