Dataset displays Blank Date field as 1970 on Page

Simple, probably…

But I have a dataset to various Course Dates and Information being displayed on my site.

When I link a Text Field on the site through to the dataset, it pulls any date I enter into the dataset fine… However, when I do Not have a date listed (within the dataset), it displays it on the site as 1 January 1970.

Within the dataset, it is formatted as a Field Type Date. (This is obviously helpful for sorting coursed by upcoming dates within repeaters on the site)

However, when there is no course and I leave it blank (with no info at all) within the dataset, it still comes up as 1970 on the site page.

So, courses with dates imputed show as upcoming with the date. and courses that are Not running still say the “Next Date” is 1970.

Here’s the dataset, with no dates listed for Agroforestry at this time:

On the page, you’ll see that the textbox linked to Next Date has populated with 1 Jan 1970:

However, when sorting the courses by “upcoming dates” on the dataset icon on the page, it does not come up at all (which is good).

But under All courses, it’s still listed with the wrong date (instead of nul or blank)

NB. The courses Were listed with blank fields and displayed as such initially. After the first date was put in and later deleted, that’s when the 1970 issue arose.

Can you please try using right-click> clear to clean that field? If it is still not working, I believe it is a bug.
