Hi everyone,
I wanted to update multiple rows in my dataset, which has c 2,000 rows.
I exported as CSV, amended in excel then re-imported only syncing the columns that I had changed.
Two things have happened:
-
All of the columns that I chose not to sync (because I hadn’t changed them) are now blank and empty.
-
The only columns I synced were Name and Text, and the dataset has now created a duplicate of every single row. So I have 2x the data in the dataset.
I think I need to learn two things very urgently
-
How can I rollback my dataset and undo the import I have just done? My Live data is still fine, is there a way to pull that down into the Sandbox? (I could pull the Live down as a CSV, but then I’d lose all formatting in Rich Text fields)
-
How shoudl I have done the above? If I want to update Columns 6 and 7, for only certain rows, for example - but there are too many rows to manually paste the text into each row.
1 is far more important right now!
Please can someone help me?
Nathan
