Date Sensitive Fixtures Listing

Hi folks, I am putting together a website that includes a page of upcoming local sporting fixtures. The client wants minimal housekeeping with what he needs to do each week so basically they want to input upcoming fixtures 5 weeks in advance and once a date has lapsed the database will remove or hide them from the list. From what I have read on the forum this might be possible to do, I’m just not sure how. Is there some code that would only show “From today’s date + 5 weeks”? and once I have this done, will the client be able to log-in as a Contributor and add the new upcoming fixtures without disrupting the code? Thanks. K
