I had similar when going from desktop to mobile editor and wanted large image showing on desktop view and small logo showing on mobile view.
So I just cheated and put the small logo behind the header so it wasn’t visible on desktop view and then hid the large logo in mobile editor simply by using hide element and used small logo for mobile view.
