I’ve just spoken to Wix support and the view seems to be no, so I wondered whether there was any coding solution.
My wife’s vegan food service runs on a weekly cycle. Every week there are five new ‘fresh’ dishes available to order (up to 7pm Tuesday). These are then cooked and chilled for collection Friday. Later on Friday the 'Fresh dishes are moved from the ‘Fresh’ collection to ‘Frozen’ or ‘No Stock’. So at this point the Fresh collection is empty. We then load the next weeks Fresh dishes and the cycle repeats.
We want to be able to send an email ‘newsletter’ to subscribers and ideally this should show the new fresh dishes for the coming week. Sounds simple (ish) and on the web page a doddle with a new gallery linked to the Stores/Fresh collection. But can this be done for an email?
I’m not looking for a dynamic realtime link, just the ability to populat an email template with the fresh dish data (from Fresh collection) at the time the email gets sent, which itself would hopefully be automated.
Am I asking too much? I just hate manually pasting stuff into an email as sooner or late the inhuman in me will make a silly mistake…
