Display issue with inbox/chat in Dashboard

Hello,

It looks like there was an update to the chat/inbox feature recently and now the text bubbles display the text in a very narrow manner unlike before where it would take up more of the space to the left and right, on desktop. This makes it so the text bubbles are a lot taller and longer displaying only a couple of works per line. Was this intentional or perhaps just not reviewed before/when rolling out the update?

I have reached out to the team, and they have advised me no recent changes were made to the UI for the Inbox within the Contact Card.

Within the Contact Card under Inbox, there is an option to redirect you to the Inbox to view the message within full screen.

Yes please review further. There should already be a ticket in about this.

I bring this up because it wasn’t like this previously and ever since there was an update to the look and feel of the chat box, this has happened. The extra step you’re pointing out is already a known one but cumbersome when reaching out to multiple different contacts from a contact list, workflow, calendar, invoice, etc.

@randya I don’t. But feel free to start a new ticket with this screenshot. Nothing has changed in my settings on my end. Your chat box seems to have dead space on both sides causing any text within it to look like this:
