# Does anyone know how to export a csv file via html?

The code in the below link used to work well before but now it has stopped working, any fix?

@certified-code The process does not continue once it gets to the download\_file()

@chidiejike What error do you see? It is hard to understand what you are experiencing without details.

@certified-code a console.log just before the download function is called shows that the contents were properly arranged ready for download, but a console.log inside the download function shows nothing. This might have to do with e blob conversions or compatibility, can you paste your code inside the download function?

This is the error  
_Download is disallowed. The frame initiating or instantiating the download is sandboxed, but the flag ‘allow-downloads’ is not set. See [Chrome Platform Status](https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5706745674465280) for more details_ .
