Does Wix Code allow a user to upload store items in bulk?

I have been searching for an answer to this question: Can I upload my items in bulk? Every search brings me back to Wix Code (I know the CSV import is not available.)
I currently have 1500 items to upload to my store and Wix was recommended to me. Before I get involved in setting up a site I need to know if I can upload my items.

If I can code a database to upload my items, where are the instructions?

Hi,
Do you wish to create your own store or using Wix Stores? If so, you can use the instructions mentioned here . Note that this feature is not open to all users. If you wish to create your own store, you can upload it to a collection, however it can take a while to code everything from scratch.
