I have a client who has a bar in a bombed out church (cool…). He’s opening on the 4th July and wants customers to be able to order and pay for their drinks from their table. Anybody any ideas on the best way to facilitate this?

This sounds tricky! Hopefully someone can provide you with some insight on how to accomplish this. 
If you want to use wix to do this ,using code we can develop a :
1.custom “Drinks Menu” were customer can oder the drinks and select the table number they are sitting.

A email or a notification can be sent to the owner to notify him the table and the order.

Once the order is accepted the customer can get a notification regarding the accepted order and the approximate time for the order to be delivered in his table or a pickup time from the counter.

After that the payment can be also done online with a tip using wix payments and close the order.
