Dual purpose form

I am trying to create a form that collects customer information AND sends user to a thank you page AND sends completed form to me. I was told to add a triggered email, but the directions don’t match what I’m looking at on my screen…specifically step 3 “fallback value”. Then I have NO idea where to find the EVENT to paste code snippet. Can someone help?

Also, is a 3rd party email delivery service necessary?
