Easier editing with multiple layers

i’m running into a lot of trouble trying to edit when i have multiple container boxes on top of ea. other from the mouse in mouse out feature i set up. How can i make editing easier as it is really difficult with multiple windows on top of ea. other. you would think wix would have kept this in mind for people editing

please see screenshot and you will see my frustration. Editing is nearly impossible. There must be a way to turn some things on or off while editing

  1. At the bottom of the Toolbar (see in the right-side of your screenshot) there’s a “Layers” button. you can click it and focus/highlight an element or hide an element (on the editor only). But truth to be told, it’s quite buggy and the experience is far from being nice.
  2. If you only want the upper layer to be interactive once it’s open, the you can use the new Multi-State Box which is really nice feature. You can make it transparent or half-transparent, and put each layer in a different State.

Thanks, do you think step 2 your are describing would help me with editing? It is really tough to edit right now and I don’t even have a lot going on yet. There must be some easier way to do this?

@eric50073 I’m not sure option 2 fits to your needs, it’s more for multi steps forms etc… but in some certain cases you can use it for layers (if you don’t need the different layers to be reactive at the same time (and you’ll need to control it by code). play with it a little bit and see if it fits to you needs.
