Does wix cover this law and is it in compliance with this data safety law? This is a very much required aspect of what I’m doing and will need this, does wix comply with this or would this be something I’d have to do myself and not wix?
It is your responsibility to be in compliance with local laws. There are several things that are required of you to implement on a website, as stated in their law.
It is also, generally, your IT directors responsibility to ensure that all apps, hardware, software ----- anything used by the school ----- is also compliant with the local education laws.
Wix isn’t even HIPPA compliant. I doubt they will be compliant in any other aspect regarding education. But you could always contact their legal department.
