Having designed and transfered a site to a client we are now contributors and are finding the Editor (in desktop Mode) has become quite slow to the point that a save or puplish typically forces Chrome to issue a “wait” or close notice.
The Mobile editor is a lot more agile through? Weird…
Using an 8GB W10 destop with large SSD and a very fast internet connection.
To be fair there are a lot of unique pages that we could not scoop up using dynamic versions but still it is not a massive site…
Transferring and changing your site role to contributor shouldn’t affect the loading time of the Editor. I would reach out to support and see what’s going on, especially if the loading time has significantly decreased. They should be able to get to the bottom of this.
Hey @purerelish , Chrome usually takes up a lot of Ram so the editor should be running smoothly, but that’s weird, I had the same problem but with safari. One thing I can recommend for you to do, is to turn your Wix dashboard into an app. That way, when you’re editing a site, your not using a browser, but an app, which might run better.
