I’ve been really liking the Wix shoutouts, BUT bounce rate is very high.

Have checked subscribers, some have been sent and rec’d previous campaigns, however yesterday I sent 545, and had 62 not delivered, of which a high percentage have rec’d information recently…

Suggestions ?

I see that the actual figures are not that bad. There are some bounces but those could be related to a spike in the contacts list. Last distribution contained more than 500 recipients, which is slightly higher number from the usual. Please try again,

Thanks Danny, the list is also synced with mailchimp, they don’t bounce.

I’ve seen that a majority are users with bigpond.net and Bigpond.com or com.au addresses, these are Telstra accounts, Australia’s largest phone/net provider. Maybe there’s a dislike towards wix marketing.

You say try again, is there a resend to non-openers like in mailchimp anywhere, or do I have to try again manually selecting recipients?

Danny, I have cross checked and manually emailed each of the 60+ subscribers, I’ll let you know how the responses go in due course. Thanks again.

Hi Danny, can you tell me why the campaigns show 60 bounces, then when I go to manage contacts and check the bounced list, it only shows 5 or 6?

I’ve checked with some of my customers that are not in the 6 yet are on the 60 from the campaign and they have never rec’d the campaigns?

Seems as though it’s not merging to the right place, makes it difficult to manage correctly

@ride360org Hi, what you see in the “bounces” folder in the contacts are the permanent bounces. Our system will not send to them anymore. But the number 60 refers to the temporary ones, so called soft-bounces.
