Error loading @tableau-embedding-api NPM package

I’m trying to add the @tableau/embedding-api NPM package for use with my website.

The install fails, returning the error “Operation could not be completed. An unexpected error occurred. Wait a moment then try again.” I’ve tried several times over three days on two different websites I maintain - the install has failed each time with the same error.

I know there are other ways to embed Tableau onto Wix websites, but want to take advantage of some of the features the API would allow.

Any advice?

The issue you are encountering seems to stem from Wix’s current limitations with NPM package installations in Velo. Not all NPM packages are compatible with Wix due to the specific runtime environment and restrictions in place.
