External API calls failing

External API calls on some of my production (wix premium) site pages have started failing. Yesterday it was failing on two pages and today the number of pages it is failing on has increased.

Notes :

  1. All of this was working until Monday with no issues and there have been no changes in our code though. There are no errors provided. Occasionally, I see the following error in the console window:
Uncaught (in promise) Error
    at i (wixCodeNamespacesAndElementorySupport.min.js:1)
    at XMLHttpRequest.n.onreadystatechange (wixCodeNamespacesAndElementorySupport.min.js:1)
    at XMLHttpRequest.wrapped (raven.js:376)
  1. The same / similar APIs in another page of the site is working without issues

  2. Weirdly, an exact duplicate of my production site (not a wix-premium site) works flawlessly on all pages.

It is frustrating to see platform instability in wix with random things stopping working without any changes on our end. Hope someone from Wix can help resolve this soon.

Hi Tabraham,
Can you send the URLs for your sites and notes about where to find these errors so we can investigate? Thanks.

Hi Marlowe, this is a production site - is there a way to share the URL privately?

I’m reporting this Wix Customer Care and they will contact you for details.

Thank you @yisrael-wix @marlowe-shaeffer appreciate the help and hope we can resolve this soon.

@yisrael-wix no one has reached out yet - any idea when we can expect someone to reach out. Thank you.

The live production site is still not working - I really hope Wix will pay more attention to platform stability.

Some additional details:

  1. In chrome, when accessing the production site, the console shows

  1. In firefox, when accessing the production site, the console is getting 400 bad request in the console – this is what we see (site name, api name have been changed):

  1. I converted the non-premium duplicate site to a paid premium site - and the duplicate site still works (whether premium/not premium). This would have been a solution - but unfortunately there is no way for me to transfer my paid subscribers with their subscriber status, contact history, etc. to this site.

@Yisrael (Wix) Hope this can be resolved soon - still no contact from anyone in the Velo offline team.

Did you find a solution to this? I’m having the same issue

Luke, I spent a lot of time investigating and providing info to Wix - but in the end it just went away on its own (at least on my end - I did not get any update from Wix on if they did anything to resolve it).

Thanks for the reply! Has gone away for me too. Very odd
